Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Manthan (manthan.sirune.tech), operated by SiRune. By creating an account or using Manthan, you agree to these terms.
The service
Manthan lets you upload documents (PDFs, slide decks, Word files, text) and uses AI to generate reviewable flashcards ("cards") organized into decks, which you can review, edit, organize, and optionally share via a link.
Accounts
You need an account (via Google or another supported sign-in method) to use Manthan. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Your content
You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the cards generated from them. You're responsible for having the right to upload any document you use with Manthan — don't upload content you don't have the rights to use. We don't claim ownership over your content, and we don't use it to train AI models beyond generating your own cards.
Plans and billing
- Manthan offers a free tier with a limited number of lifetime AI generations, and paid subscription plans (currently Plus and Pro) with higher or unlimited generation quotas.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Razorpay, and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account's Plan & Usage panel. Cancelling keeps your current plan's access active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, after which your account reverts to the free tier — you are not charged again after cancelling.

Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Manthan for any unlawful purpose, or to upload content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to circumvent plan quotas, rate limits, or access controls.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to access accounts other than your own.
- Use the service to generate or distribute malicious, abusive, or illegal content.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Service availability
We aim to keep Manthan available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Manthan is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated cards may contain errors or inaccuracies — you're responsible for verifying important content before relying on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SiRune is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using Manthan and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Manthan after a change means you accept the updated terms.
